Founder and Editor, WordyLab
I built WordyLab because the word-game sites I used were slow, buried the answer under three screens of filler, and rarely said where their word lists came from. This site is my attempt at the opposite: fast tools, a clear answer, and a stated source.
What I am responsible for
- Daily puzzle answers
- Every daily answer published on WordyLab is fetched from a live source and checked against the date it claims to cover before it goes out. When a source is unavailable or returns data for the wrong day, the page stays unpublished rather than showing a guess.
- Guides and strategy
- Guides are written from actual play rather than rewritten from other sites. Where a guide makes a claim about letter frequency, scoring, or word validity, that claim is checked against the dictionary the relevant game uses.
- Word lists and tools
- Word lists are generated from the ENABLE dictionary and filtered by the rules of the game each page serves. Tool behaviour, scoring tables, and dictionary choices are documented on the methodology page.
Corrections and contact
If something on this site is wrong — a puzzle answer, a word that should not be in a list, a scoring table that does not match the game — tell me and I will fix it. Corrections to daily answers are made the same day.
Email [email protected], or use the contact form. The editorial policy covers how content is reviewed, and the methodology page covers where the word data comes from.
